Audit My Forms

Description

Audit My Forms is a tool for WordPress administrators and developers to audit forms used across their website. Over time, websites may accumulate forms from different plugins that are no longer in use, which can make management more difficult.

This plugin scans your site—including Pages, Posts, and Templates—to identify where forms are used and how they are configured.

Key Features:

  • Identify Unused Forms: Find forms that are not embedded on any page and may be candidates for removal.
  • Email Overview: View configured email addresses used for form submissions across supported plugins.
  • Builder Support: Works with Elementor and Divi templates and modules.
  • Multi-Plugin Support: Supports plugins such as WPForms, CF7, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Forminator, Formidable, and MetForm.
  • Batch Scanning: Uses an AJAX-based process to handle scanning in steps and reduce server load.

Screenshots

  • Dashboard Overview: A full view of the plugin showing the header, scan status, and summary of detected forms.
  • Scan in Progress: The AJAX-based real-time progress bar and pin indicator during a site audit.
  • Unused Forms Detection: A dedicated list of forms that were found in your plugins but are not used anywhere on your site.
  • View All Locations: Every form row includes a ‘View All’ option with an arrow indicator to explore hidden locations.
  • Location Insights Popup: A detailed searchable popup showing all pages, posts, and templates where a specific form is used.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install via the WordPress ‘Add New’ screen.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Go to ‘Audit My Forms’ in your admin sidebar.
  4. Click ‘Run Scan’ to start the scan.

FAQ

Is this plugin safe for my database?

Yes. It is a read-only tool and does not modify or delete any form data or settings.

Will it find forms inside Elementor Templates?

Yes. It scans Elementor templates and detects forms used within them.

How long does the scan take?

The duration depends on the size of your site. The scan runs in batches to avoid timeouts on larger sites.

This plugin makes it very easy to manage WordPress forms. I can quickly see form names, email notifications, and the pages where forms are added. Simple, helpful, and saves a lot of time. Highly recommended!
