The connection is required because the chat assistant is hosted and processed by Chaaty.<\/p>\n\n<p>What the plugin does:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>It loads the Chaaty widget script from <code>https:\/\/chaaty.io\/widget\/embed.js<\/code> on the front end of your site (only when you have entered a Chatbot ID and the assistant is enabled).<\/li>\n<li>When a visitor interacts with the assistant, their messages and related session data are sent to Chaaty (<code>https:\/\/chaaty.io<\/code>) to generate replies and, where enabled, capture leads or bookings. This happens in the visitor's browser via the loaded widget.<\/li>\n<li>The plugin sends your Chatbot ID (which you provide) to identify which assistant to load.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The plugin itself does not send your visitors' data to any other service.
