Podamibe Custom User Gravatar

Description

This is a plugin that allows users to upload their own gravatar in the media gallery and displays that image as gravatar instead of grabbing avatar from gravatar.com based on their registered email.

You can also use the default gravatar by disabling custom gravatar.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin ‘Podamibe Custom User Gravatar’ to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to User Profile Page and check use custom gravatar checkbox and select preferred picture form media gallery. Or you can upload your own picture.
  4. Update Your Profile

Simple plugin that does what it's supposed to. We use it on economy4mankind.org because we want individual avatars and not the single allround avatar of Gravatar. Using it means there is just another checkbox in the user profile administration where you can choose any image you want as your avatar for our website. Thanks for the great plugin!
