Bulk image resizer

Bulk image resize allows you to optimize images uploaded to wordpress.

  • You can resize all images with just one click.
  • It is optimized to speed up the bulk process. 1000 images take a few minutes on a normal server.
  • You can enable the option to optimize images when uploaded to the server.
  • Allows you to decide the maximum size of the images and the quality in which they should be compressed.
  • Adds to media-library (list version) the possibility to select the images to be optimized.
  • Still on media-library (list version) it adds an additional information column on the image.
  • Through graphics it allows you to monitor the status of the images on the server.
  • Ability to use specific hooks to customize optimization options.
  • It also resizes webp images.

    if (stripos($filename,"no_compress")) {
        return false;

Yet another tool I used to reduce the overall size of my website. Did what it said on the packet with no problems. I dont really need it now as I just intend to resize before I upload but still a great tool and will most probably keep just in case I do forget to resize before upload.

After setting up this plugin, I can't access library. Instead I get 504 time out. Is there any way that I can fix this issue?

I have 160 images that are 150x150px, and I wanted to resize them to be 200x200px so that Facebook Open graph will pick them up as miniatures in the cards. Unfortunately it didn't work, the plugin can only reduce the dimensions. So that's a one-way resizer, and I can't find any solution. this is extremely distressing
